HISTORY
De Epitome started out in 2005. At first there was no immediate interest in recording songs. It all began as a way to entertain ourselves. Luffy was the first to recruit the founding members of De Epitome. Adul and Deal were the first to be enlisted. Adul played rythm guitarist, while deal played lead guitarist. Finding someone to play as bassist was easy. The role of bassist was held by G5. Luffy, Adul, Deal and G5 were close friends from childhood. All of them live near to each other, so seeing each other was easy. By now a song is already produced. It consists of a rythm and developed by Luffy, Deal and Adul. The missing part was vocal arrangements and lyrics. This is where Ameen cames in. Upon hearing the song Luffy asked if any lyrics can be fitted together with the song. The Lyrics were made, vocals were arranged, leads and rythms were produced and the first ever De Epitome single was created. It was titled 'Conversation'. After the song was done all of us saw potential in the song and decided to try recording it. This was our first step as a band. And to this day we are still glad that we took the opportunity. After the release of 'Conversation', we decided to move on with a 2nd song. Feeling that De Epitome needed a boost vocally, Khai was chosen after an extensive search for compatible vocal to blend in and lead with the songs of De Epitome. Now there are six of us, its almost three years and we still continue producing songs as long as it is still fun and challenging.

First Establish: July 2005

Mid of July 2005, De EPITOME was formed. 4th-6th December 2005,Our 1st single ever. With da title of "CONVERSATION".
24th March 2006, 2nd single "MOMENTS OF TRUTH" was recorded.
11th June 2006, a malay single was created "KISAH KITA".
30th August 2006, 1st time ever received an invitation from Pelangi FM to attend the Rising Star interview.
21st November 2006, Finally the 4th single, "LALALA(Like I Care)" was recorded and released.
28th January 2007, invited by PELANGI FM to attend the giving certificate of being one in TOP 10 Bruneian artist air play in Pelangi FM.
25th February, our 1st formal live show performance in Studio A RTB along with Nana, artist of the month for February.
25th March 2007, recorded a new single "EVOLUSI BELIA" and invited by rangkaian Harmoni for an interview on air.
15th April 2008, After a serious year of modification "SAAT TERHAPUS" was done and released.
May 2008, We were selected and announced by Pelangi FM as PELANGI SPOTLIGHT in May 2008
